Volunteers: The Wellesley Soccer League is run by parent volunteers. Its growth and success depends on your willingness to participate. Please fill in the volunteer section of your registration form. All teams are contingent on having sufficient players, coaches and conveners. Mandatory police checks are required for our volunteers.
Weather: Please be advised that soccer will run rain or shine! Wellesley Soccer will send out a mass email if for any reason soccer is cancelled (field closure, long lasting/forecasted lightening etc). We will also try to post on Facebook, so that the message is wide-spread, so please check these two sources before heading out to the field. If there is no notification from us, you can assume soccer is a go!!
Those travelling to games, typically the game is called at the home field by the referee, as weather can differ from town to town.
Uniforms: Mini's (Age 4-6) are supplied with a jersey, shorts, socks and soccer ball that is theirs to keep.
Other divisions are supplied with team jersey and shorts and socks that are theirs to keep at the end of the season.
Shinpads are mandatory for all divisions and must be worn under the socks. Soccer cleats are required.
